Highlighting Our UNESCO World Heritage Partnership
We are pleased to provide you with a new video about our partnership with UNESCO, highlighting how, through our partnership, we are offering sustainable tourism and exclusive access to UNESCO World Heritage sites we visit around the world.
Seabourn is the official cruise partner to UNESCO — the only cruise line with this sort of partnership.
As of January 2019, there are 1,092 World Heritage Properties worldwide and Seabourn guests have opportunities to visit more than 170 World Heritage sites at destinations on current itineraries. Some are famous places such as the Taj Mahal, Machu Picchu, and the Acropolis. Others are lesser-known sites such as wooden churches on Chile’s Chiloé Island or the cathedral of St. James in Sibenik, Croatia.
Shore excursions to World Heritage sites are the number one way for you to take advantage of our partnership. Attending UNESCO enrichment lectures on board, as part of the Seabourn Conversations program, is the next best way to get involved.
